Stop by the Amerikilt booth to chat.  For those who don’t know I am a huge kilt fan and Amerikilt is my favorite casual kilt, whether you are going business casual or just with a t-shirt on a lazy weekend.  Amerikilt’s rock and are a great way to see if the whole kilt thing is for you.  The 2010 Maryland Irish Festival has something for the entire family. I will be at the booth from 12-11 PM on SAT 13NOV10.

That is where we come in.  We have resources and people on the ground doing just about any job you can think of from an inner city SWAT cop, to a medic in Afghanistan.  Let our team take a look at what you have and give you a no nonsense opinion of it before you waste your time or miss out on the opportunity to cash in.

We will provide you with a confidentiality agreement.  We don’t want your idea, we want to help you promote it.

Is this you?  Do you work at a marketing or PR firm that has an account for tactical products that you don’t have a clue about?  Are you trying to sell tactical pants when you wear Dockers or a skirt in the office all day?  Do you know what the potential end user is looking for?  What makes the pants you are marketing better than army surplus ACUs/or BDUs?  Do you know what ACUs or BDUs are?  Contact us, let us know what you are selling.  Let us teach you to talk tactical and watch your profits soar, simply by being able to relate to your customer.  They will never know where you got your education from, only smiling as they hand over their disposable income for your gear and not the competition’s.

A few years ago, I was at the New York Custom Knife Show with a buddy who was an aspiring knife maker.  He never got a table even at small local shows.  He had nothing visible that would identify him as a knife maker.  As we were walking around the show, he began to complain that nobody was buying his knives.  I asked him who he was selling to and he said “guys at home” (a very small town in Michigan).  I told him that he could be making knives that would make some big name makers cry, but that nobody would ever know because he was so good at keeping his knives a secret.

Are you like my friend?  Are you a small knife maker or a huge tactical gear manufacturer, but do a lousy job of getting your product in front of people?  Contact us and let’s chat how to turn your good ideas and great products into bank deposits.

tac·ti·cal

–adjective

1.  of or pertaining to tactics, esp. military or naval tactics.

2.  characterized by skillful tactics or adroit maneuvering or procedure: tactical movements.

3.  of or pertaining to a maneuver or plan of action designed as an expedient toward gaining a desired end or temporary advantage.

4.  expedient; calculated.

5.  prudent; politic.

We all know that everything is tactical these days.  If you have any doubt, watch this.  Look at tactical pens, tactical knives, tactical watches.  On a common sense level we all know that an item being “tactical” is silly, but being “tactikewl”  is fun.  Our tactical pens are going to do more writing than stabbing, our tactical knives are going to cut more sandwiches than terrorists, and our watches are going to tell us what time to pick up the kids, not when we need to reach our Zodiac to move off the beach.

The truth is that we can put our customers into two categories, those that do or have done “tactical” things for a living, and the majority of the market who are fans of those doing it for a living and appreciate “tactikewl” gear.  Having been both enlisted in the army and as a retired police officer, I can tell you that the people who support the tactical market are those that used to do it for a living and those that are fans.  These people research their gear to exhaustion on forums and other websites.  With today’s economy, these folks more than ever are looking for the most bang for the buck.  Let us help you educate them on why your products are what they need.
